Privacy policy
How I look after the information you share with me.
Who I am
This website is run by Amy Piggott, a sole trader trading as Circuit Media, based in Dorset. I'm the "data controller", which means I decide how your personal information is used. You can contact me at info@circuitmedia.co.uk or on 07711 155822.
What I collect and why
When you use the contact form I collect:
- your name and email address,
- your phone number, if you choose to give it,
- the service you're interested in and your budget range,
- the message you write.
I use this only to reply to your enquiry and, if you'd like to work together, to prepare a quote and start the project. I don't use it for anything else and I don't add you to a mailing list.
My lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract (answering your enquiry and quoting) and my legitimate interest in running my business. The tick-box on the form confirms you've seen this policy.
Who I share it with
I don't sell your information. I use a few trusted services to run the site:
- Resend sends the enquiry to my inbox and your confirmation email.
- Netlify hosts this website and runs the contact form.
- My email provider stores the messages I receive.
Some of these services may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy arrangement.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiries for as long as I need to answer them and, if we work together, as long as I need to keep records for my accounts and to support you. If we don't work together, I delete the enquiry after a reasonable period.
Cookies and analytics
This site doesn't use cookies, and I don't use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, so there's no cookie banner.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information I hold about you,
- ask me to correct anything that's wrong,
- ask me to delete your information,
- ask me to restrict how I use it, or object to my using it,
- ask for it in a portable format.
To use any of these, just email me. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
If I change how I use your information I'll update this page. Last updated: October 2026.
